How are we different at Cordel Gowan?

Whereas many organisations rely on ‘one size fits all’ solutions, we at Cordel Gowan treat every situation as unique. No two organisations are the same. No two people are the same. Because of this, we will always take the time to find out all the relevant information about your business and the people within it before developing appropriate solutions. For example, there’s no point focusing on improving communication in the workplace and employees’ interpersonal skills if the real problem is the way staff are being managed. Likewise, although you may simply want to improve employee performance (something that coaching and development programmes are extremely effective at), the real problem could well be that you are taking on the wrong people, in which case we might suggest making changes to your selection and recruitment process too. In short, whatever you or your organisation are struggling with, we’ll help you identify the source of the problems and develop a strategy to tackle them as quickly and efficiently as possible.

About me

As an ex-teacher and head teacher, I have always had a passion for helping others to achieve their potential. Combined with 20 years in the coaching and recruitment industry, this experience has meant I am able to deal effectively with all sorts of individuals, working with them and their colleagues to achieve the results desired.

Many of my clients express surprise at just how quickly and effectively I am able to get under the surface of an individual and really understand how they operate, what their strengths and limitations are and what exactly motivates them. Further, they are then amazed at the speed with which it is possible to bring about lasting change (such as improved interpersonal or management skills) off the back of these discoveries.
